Privacy Policy

Last updated: December 2026

Shadowrocket Config Center is the official Shadowrocket site and guide. This policy explains how data is handled when you browse this site, including its static pages, navigation, and analytics. Data handling within the app and App Store transactions are covered by their respective notices and policies.

1. Website services and data collection

This site provides documentation on verifying the official app, purchasing and installing it, importing an existing subscription, and configuring settings. It has no registration, sign-in, email newsletter, or online configuration submission features, and does not ask readers for their email addresses. You can read the guide without submitting your name, payment details, subscription URL, server password, or app connection logs to this site.

When your browser requests a page, the service hosting this site receives the technical information needed to fulfill the request, including your IP address, request path, timestamp, browser identifier, and response status. Depending on its settings, your browser may also send referrer information. This data is used to deliver pages, maintain the site, and troubleshoot issues; it does not mean the site reads Shadowrocket configurations stored on your device.

2. Website analytics and how data is used

This site uses analytics to understand how readers use the documentation and navigation. Analytics may include page paths, visit times, referral categories, device or browser categories, and clicks on designated buttons. When you click an App Store button, the event helps indicate whether the store link was used; it does not mean a purchase was made.

This data helps identify broken links, improve the document structure, and troubleshoot display issues. It is not used to ask readers for subscription or server information. The fields recorded, retention period, and access permissions depend on the actual deployment settings. This policy does not describe analytics data as completely anonymous or promise a fixed retention period that has not been verified.

3. Cookies and browser storage

Browsing these static pages does not require an account cookie from this site. Depending on the deployment settings, analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers to distinguish visits and aggregate browsing activity. Your browser may also cache fonts, images, and page resources; caching does not upload files from your device to this site.

If interactive features use local storage, it should be limited to necessary interface state or preferences—not subscription URLs, passwords, or payment details. You can view, restrict, or clear cookies, site data, and cache in your browser settings. Restricting analytics scripts may make visit records incomplete, and clearing stored data may reset some settings to their defaults.

4. App Store and data handling boundaries

Shadowrocket is a paid app for Apple platforms. The App Store is the only place to get it: App Store product page. Apple operates that page. Account sign-in, payments, purchase history, and related data handling after you follow the link are governed by Apple’s terms and privacy policy. This site does not receive your App Store password or payment details.

A one-time purchase of the app is not a subscription to a proxy service. This site does not provide, sell, or recommend proxy servers or subscriptions; import instructions assume you already have your own subscription or server details. Your app’s Connection, DNS, Log, Data, or iCloud settings are not automatically sent to this site’s analytics when you read this guide. Check the app’s own information for details about permissions and data handling.

5. Policy updates and help

If site features, analytics methods, or the scope of data handling change, this page will be updated and the last-updated month at the top will be revised. The current public text on this page is authoritative. Any new data collection purpose will be clearly explained when the relevant feature is introduced.

For help with purchases or importing, see the FAQ or Quick Start Guide. When troubleshooting, do not include subscription URLs, access credentials, full logs, or other personal information in screenshots or text that may be shared publicly. You can view and delete browser storage through your device’s browser settings for site data.
